The Unlisted Collection: hotel brand and BITSY debuted a collaborative three-day pop-up market: Wanderer’s Market, on 8 July, 2016.
The team at Chainless Brain was excited to participate in the pop-up — The Wanderer’s Market. It was held for the first time at the Wanderlust Hotel located in the heart of Little India. The whimsical yet industrial-glam hotel lobby was converted into a pop-up market over those three days.
This collaboration provided a platform for online “e-tailers” to showcase their products. The list of participating brands includes a purveying mix of local designers such as alternative home ware & furniture brand Scene Shang and The Stuck Shop, footwear brand The World At Your Feet, jewellery brands such as ourselves, Chainless Brain and Blithe & Merry.
We love the concept of taking over a hotel lobby for a weekend and showcase our designs to an interesting crowd of both local and tourist audience.
Our team arrived at Wanderlust Hotel on Thursday evening with all our equipment and props. Thank goodness that the hotel has provided us the table, at least that saved us one less bulky item to transport.
Behind every pretty merchandise display, there’s a person manually adjusting and ‘designing’ the way every bracelet and necklace are being placed. And that person is none other than our designer, Alverina.
After an hour of thoughtful arrangement, Chainless Brain’s setup was finally ready. The set up is always kept clean and simple to highlight the focus of the accessories.
The crazy thing of doing a popup is that pretty things from other vendors tend to keep alluring us to their corners. We love the shoes from theworldatyourfeet.co— it pairs so well with Chainless Brain’s Titanium Quartz Bracelet (check it out here) and these candles from sceneshang.com will add a touch to any space.
We love doing pop-ups as they give our team an opportunity to learn more about our customers — understand what makes them tick and what their preferences are — and this helps us to create better products through Chainless Brain. After all, our goal is to offer accessories that have a story to individuals who wants more than a mass produced piece.
Stay tuned and follow us on our journey.
Till then xx,
Team of Chainless Brain
